Short Bio:

Australian mezzo-soprano Louise Fenbury is acclaimed for the depth and colour of her voice and her vivid stage presence. Described by Brigitte Fassbaender as possessing “a true mezzo sound”, she has appeared at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden in Wagner’s Ring cycle (Flosshilde, Waltraute, Second Norn), as well as Second Lady (Die Zauberflöte) and Mercedes (Carmen). Her repertoire includes Carmen, Charlotte, Hänsel, Dido, Orlovsky and Niklaus. A former Young Artist with West Australian Opera, she has also appeared with Opera Australia and in major concert repertoire. Fenbury trained at WAAPA and is currently based in Perth, Australia.
